In 2008 the Blue Moon was purchased by the long-standing management team of Tim Ragan, Meghan Gardner, Lion Gardner and Randy Haney. The new owners have been responsible for the daily operations and management decisions of the Blue Moon for the past several years. This will insure the Blue Moon's 27 year tradition of excellence will continue long in to the future.

MEGHAN GARDNER
Meghan is Manager and Catering Director. Her deep interest in wines makes her the perfect wine buyer. As a member of the Blue Moon staff for 4 years, she has served our valued customers in many capacities. Meghan grew up in Wilmington, DE and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and Art History from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY. She lived in Prague, Czech Republic and taught English. Her extensive travel includes Great Britain, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Israel, Mexico and Peru.

TIM RAGAN
As Manager, Tim's responsibilies at the Blue Moon include booking and arranging the entertainment that is quickly gaining the Blue Moon a reputation as the area's best spot for quality entertainment. His other duties include advertising, promotion and assisting in maintaing the high level of service our customers have grown to expect. He is a graduate of Salisbury University and was a Blue Moon customer for many years prior to joining the staff.

LION GARDNER
Executive Chef, Lion Gardner was born & grew-up in Wawa, PA, a small town outside of Philadelphia. He began working in kitchens in high school and continued to do so throughout college. He first came to Rehoboth in 1997 and spent the next several summers working as sous chef at Eden. His first head chef position was at Taste in Rehoboth, which he helped open in the spring of 2003. More recently he helped open and was the chef at Fins Fish House & Raw Bar on Rehoboth Avenue. Lion then went back to Eden, this time as Executive Chef. Lion attended the University of Delaware for both undergraduate and graduate school. He received his Master’s Degree in mass media studies in 2002. He has lived in Prague, CZ and has traveled extensively in Europe, South America and the United States.
